but i chose this tie because it matched your eyes
and the other day would be a coincidence
but this time right and i met in line for good reason

heard twig palace for the first time while
driving in the car with my brother in washington,
headed towards the beach. as i approached
the top of the dunes and felt the breeze on my legs,
exposed in my short cutoff jean shorts, i got
goosebumps. when i looked out over the water i cried.
it was my first time seeing the pacific ocean.
i was so happy.
