everyone is always talking about it.
i know i've spent nights crying
about it, days complaining about it...

i cried so many times for you that sometimes
my brother and my dad would ask me why
we were even together. for a long time,
a four and a half year time, and then some,
it was because i really just couldn't help
how much i loved you. no matter what
you did, mostly what you didn't do, i couldn't
stop. many of my tears fell on the nights
i found myself alone, wondering why you weren't
there next to me. i don't cry about you anymore
though, and i think we are both happy
where we are now.

i'd say this is an ideal, repeatable
break(ing)up song. one you can wallow
in, one you can get your point across with,
one you can rock out to once you've come to
